Saigon Restaurant & Bar in Bretten

I had to think really hard before writing this review, because I have been a customer for a long time. I introduced several of my coworkers to this restaurant for their delicious soups, and have been known to go once or twice a week. Last week, I ordered my usual, and as I was setting up my soup I found a cockroach snuggled in my wonton. To say that I will never come back again is an understatement. It's been 3 days since then, and I still feel extremely upset by it. Who knows how many cockroaches I've eaten without knowing. Again, so hard to write this being that I loved this place so much, but people had to know.

Better than even the original location down the street. Great pho, bun mam, spring rolls, and other Vietnamese standards.

Customer service leaves something to be desired, but Saigon has the best Pad Thai I've ever had. I order it with tofu, no egg. The tofu is always cooked perfectly, and the dish isn't overly sweet like most pad thai.

Ordered a few items for dinner here not long ago and had a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was prepped quickly. Portions were big and overall it’s a great value for the price. Everything was delicious and fresh. For those who want to order bubble tea - it’s more like a bubble milk shake with ice cream than tea. Still yummy though! Would recommend.

I got the duck rice porridge from this place. It was only average.

One of our go to for Vietnamese food! Love the lotus salad with shrimp chips, rocket shrimp and salted wings! Their Pho is excellent too. Great, friendly service!

Had catfish, Vietnamese crepe, catfish, and few other dishes and it was all amazing!

Shrimp pad thai was awesome! Beef pho my friend got looked good too. Quality place, looks much nicer on the inside!

We got a take-out feast, and my wife is in love! Pho of several kinds, sampler plate, sandwich, shakes...the works. All fresh tasting and delicious. We’ll be back!

My new favorite pho place. After my favorite place closed down due to covid, I was on the hunt for a new place. I came across this place by chance. Let me tell you... Amazing! So much flavor. I will be making this place my regular spot.

Wonderful food. Social distancing and a very clean restaurant. Menu is huge, so much to choose from!

Best Asian restaurants. Everytime we are in Indianapolis or are passing through, we have to stop in for a meal.

Great food reasonably priced clean

We love Saigon. We have eaten here probably ten times since discovering this place last year, which is really saying something since it is an hour's drive from our county. We have never had a bad meal here. The service is quick, and the food is spectacular. The staff is friendly. Truly, this restaurant makes our world brighter. Thanks, Saigon, for bringing delicious authentic food to Indy.

What a great restaurant!!! Its not secret that I looooove vietnamese cuisine! It's my fav. Growing up on the East Coast, we had quite the selection. I'm happy to the growing selection around this area, since I have moved back. Saigon had been here for quite a while, and happy to see its holding true and still serving some of the best. I had visited about 7 years ago for some Banh mi sandwiches, but I never stopped in for their Pho, because I lived in Carmel, and was too lazy to drive down. I went the other day w a friend, and I was blown away by their pho. So good, so tasty, so yummy! I will be back "pho-more" !!! I highly recommend a visit! Welcome to flavor country, you've come a long way, baby!

Good food

Great food and great service!

Hard pass on this Vietnamese restaurant. Ordered the bun bo hue and the clay pot chicken. The soup was flat and flavorless. The chicken tasted like it had been braised in soy sauce for hours past the point that it was actually cooked-salty with a texture of cardboard.

Yummy food

Order #9 from the appetizer menu, its amazing! The food comes out quick and it’s pretty good. You almost never have to wait more than 10 minutes for the food to come out.
